"Grappa"

Sangiovese is a grape variety originating from central Italy. His name means "blood of Jupiter."

In the small paths around my house in Tuscany, this photo was taken at the end of September, just before the big harvest.  <gorged by the midday sun, the fruits of concentrated sugar, here is the last break before picking.

In this photo, I wanted to capture all the notoriety and beauty of centuries accumulated in cultivating and transforming this noble fruit. Its shading and textures powerfully reinforce the image.

The smell of the floors comes back to me, the breath of warm breezes on my skin and my soul finds itself there again.
